President Elect:                                     Attend all Parent Council meetings in preparation for holding the office of President in the following school year.

Auction Co-Chairs:                               Work with various auction committees for the planning and implementation of the annual auction. 

Auction Co-Chair Elect:                        Work with current auction co-chairs in preparation for holding the position of auction co-chair in the following school year.

Upper School Representative:               Parent Council representative for the Upper School.  Responsible for contacting grade reps and/or student reps. regarding ongoing activities sponsored by Parent Council.

Buddy System:                                     Parents committed to welcoming new OMA families, answering questions and explaining the different activities that are held throughout the school year.

Pumpkin Painting Party:                        Responsible for planning this fall event for Lower School children.  They paint pumpkins outside and enjoy a fun fall afternoon.

Newsletter:                                           Responsible for the typesetting and publishing of a quarterly OMA newsletter.  This person is not responsible for writing the newsletter in it’s entirety as most articles are written by faculty, staff and students.

Senior Moms Luncheon:                       A sophomore parent responsible for the planning of this luncheon held just prior to graduation to honor the mothers of seniors.

Scholarship:                                          Responsible for selling raffle tickets at Parent Council venues such as Grandparents Day and during the auction.  Tickets are sold for $100 for the chance to win reduced tuition for the upcoming year.  

Raffle is held during the auction.

Lower School End ofYear Party:                      Responsible for the planning and implementation of the end of school party for the Lower School.  Room moms also take an active roll in this activity. 

American Education Week:                   Responsible for the planning and implementation of “Teacher Appreciation Week.”
