Kite Day - Friday, March 30 at 11:00 a.m.
Kite Day, a treasured OMA tradition, will be a fun filled day for the entire family. Hosted by OMA Alumni, the festivities will begin at 11:00 a.m. with lunch for students, parents and faculty. Following lunch all students will have an opportunity to fly their kites with the help of parents and upper school students. After everyone has finished flying kites prizes will be awarded in both lower and middle school divisions for the kite that flies the highest and the most creative kite. School will be dismissed at 1:30 so that everyone can begin Spring Break just a little early. There will be no after school care on Friday afternoon.
Please send all kites to school by Wednesday, March 28 so that our upper school students can help put them together. In case of inclement weather, Kite Day festivities will be rescheduled. However, lunch will still be provided for our students.
Oak Mountain Classic Horse Show
This year’s Oak Mountain Classis Horse Show is scheduled for April 14. The OMA Foundation is hard at work on planning this year’s event. If you are interested in assisting with the horse show or would like for your child to serve as a ribbon bearer, please contact Tammy Miller at 770-834-2983. In addition to the award winning horse show, this year’s events will feature a dog show. Beginning at 1:30 p.m., dogs of all shapes and sizes will be on hand for the 1st annual Oak Mountain Classic Dog Show. Be sure to bring Rover along with the kids for a fun filled afternoon. Watch for more exciting details on all of the festivities

Special Thanks ...
We want to send out a big thank you to our upper school students who have taken on a very special Easter Basket project. Susan Lester, mother of Madison, brought in 50 names of children in Carroll County Foster Care who need Easter baskets this year. The students have taken the names and have started bringing in beautiful Easter baskets for the children. We appreciate your help with this program; your gift will bring smiles to many little faces.
