To: All 9^th – 11^th Grade Students and Parents

Subject: Final Exams & Class Schedules

We are conducting final exams this year the week of May 19-23, 2008. An exam schedule is located directly below, to help you and your child/children plan appropriately. Please note that there is one evening event scheduled during exam week; therefore we have adjusted the schedule to allow students ample time to study for exams without being overburdened by other school events. The exams are scheduled by class period. Accordingly, students should attend each teacher’s class based on “normal” periods of the day to take their exams. Please remember that students will only attend school for their exams. Teachers will be on campus during normal school hours, so students may see individual teachers for assistance at times other than those designated for final exams. If you have a transportation problem and need to have your child/children stay at school, please notify us as soon as possible, and we will arrange proper supervision.

I will meet with each student on an individual basis over the next few days in order to facilitate scheduling for the 2008 – 2009 school year. I will begin with the rising seniors and work downward by grade level to the rising sophomores. When finished, each student will have a copy of his/her tentative schedule for next fall. Please take a moment to look over this schedule and feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Let me reiterate, this is a tentative schedule for planning purposes. Some changes may be necessary as we complete the scheduling process this summer.

I know you are as excited as I am about putting a terrific finish onto what has been a great school year. Please encourage your child/children to get proper rest and plan appropriate study time to allow for a strong effort on final exams.
