Key Club Carnival
The spring carnival on Friday was a huge success. The OMA Key Club provided our OMA family with an afternoon filled with fun, games and lots of great prizes. A huge thank you goes out to Mr. Smith and the Key Club members for organizing this year’s event. Be sure to check out the photos on the OMA website.
Sidewalk Art Festival
The upper school art class, under the direction of Mrs. Kitchens, decorated our sidewalks with beautiful works of art using sidewalk chalk. The masterpieces took two days to complete and have added a special touch to this afternoon’s festivities. Click here to see photos!
Book Fair
The spring book fair will begin on Monday, April 23 in the OMA gym. All of the books will on sale for 1/2 off of the regular price. This is a great opportunity to stock on reading materials for your child during the upcoming summer vacation while helping to support the OMA Media Center.
Earth Day Activity
Our middle school students have been invited to participate in an Earth Day Activity at the Carrollton Agricultural Center Demonstration Gardens. On Monday April 23, all middle school students will travel to the Agricultural Center to help “spruce up” the gardens for the spring and summer season.
Prom
“Casino Royale” is the theme for this year’s prom which is scheduled to be held on Friday, April 27 at Sunset Hills Country Club. The festivities will kick off with dinner at 6:30 followed by gaming at 8:00. The cost for this year’s prom is $145 per couple or $85 for an individual; the cost includes dinner.
Region 4A Golf Tournament
Oak Mountain Academy is hosting the Region 4A Golf Tournament on Monday, April 23 at Oak Mountain Golf course. In addition to our Warrior team, teams from LaGrange Academy, Flint River Academy and Covenant Academy will be on hand to participate. Special thanks to the Wall, Miller and Lindsey families for their help in planning this event.
