The Anaconda

Size

The anaconda is one of the largest snakes in the world. It can grow up to 23ft. long. There are some reports of anacondas up to 60ft. long. Wildlife Conservation Society has offered a large cash reward ($50,000) for the delivery of any snake 30ft. or more in length. The prize has not yet been claimed.

Diet

. The anaconda mostly eats small animals like rats ,fish ,turtles ,and gulls. Like most snakes, the anaconda swallows its food whole. To kill its prey, the anaconda squeezes its prey with great force

Behavior

The anaconda is very strict. It will kill any animal it can catch. It is a very good swimmer too. To escape predators, the anaconda uses its swimming abilities to rapidly get away.
