I try to attend as many athletic events as possible - I always want to show support to my studetns. "Once a cheerleader...always a cheerleader."

Individual educational philosophy, goals, etc.:
I believe that all students can learn and that every student has their individual area of giftedness. My goal is to provide instruction that encourages each student to meet and exceed their practical, cognitive, emotional/social, and moral potential, meeting this goal through a curriculum that is intellectually stimulating, but at the same time, developmentally appropriate. It is very important that a safe, nurturing environment is provided for the students, also.

Family:
My husband, Michael is a Health and PE teacher at Central Middle School and a varsity football and baseball coach at Central High School Our sons are Justin and Jeremy.

Hobbies and interests:
I love spending time with my family at the lake. I have a special love for animals and wildlife, so we have always enjoyed camping and spending time outdoors. My husband is a coach and our sons are athletes, so we enjoy sports in general. I love to read and cook.
