The educational journey begins in our supportive and nurturing kindergarten classrooms. Language and readiness skills are interspersed with activities that encourage the creativity of each student. Math concepts are presented in a variety of engaging ways. Social awareness is integrated into the curriculum throughout the year. All of our students acquire the phonetic skills that allow them to approach reading with confidence. In addition, students enjoy foreign language, music, library, Bible and physical education classes.
Our Lower School curriculum is carefully crafted to lead students through a sequence of experiences in language skills, mathematics, social studies and science. Teachers use the natural curiosity and personal interests of their students to capitalize on each student’s talents. The Lower School experience is enriched through classes in technology, music, foreign language, physical education, Bible and art. In addition, learning extends beyond the classroom with trips and school-wide activities.
