Key Club: The Key Club is a community service organization that was recently instituted at Oak Mountain. The goals of the club are to improve both the school itself and the larger community as well through activities such as the Festival of Trees in Atlanta, the Sudden Infant Death Syndrome Walk/Bike Ride, and an annual school carnival. The OMA Key Club strives to make a difference. It is by helping others and developing a good work ethic that its members stand out as leaders in the school and in the community.

Student Council: The Student Council elects officers every year and includes representatives from each class. One of its primary functions is to work with the senior class to present the school Prom every year in the spring. The Student Council holds a variety of fund raisers during the year to help provide for the annual festivities, such as the Poinsettia Sale, Hat Day, Valentines Day CandyGrams, and Pajama Day. The Student Council participates in the planning and organization of the Prom as well.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes: FCA's purposes are to serve the school through community projects and provide a strong Christian foundation for its members. FCA Huddle Meetings aim to provide for the betterment of OMA, while allowing student athletes to be encouraged, supported, uplifted, and inspired through the voices and testimonies of Christian coaches and athletes from around the community.

Chess Club: The Chess Club is open to all upper school students who wish to play, or learn how to play, chess. In addition to standard chess games, students also enjoy varieties of chess, such as four-way chess and tandem. A tournament at the end of the year determines the champion, who is then awarded a trophy.

Electives: In addition to the above extra-curricular activities, students also have the opportunity to participate in elective courses, such as yearbook, drama, and cinema classes.
