One of OMA’s most successful fundraisers is the annual auction. Traditionally held in early March, the Auction involves the entire OMA family. Funds raised through our auction provide financial support for the school’s ongoing mission of providing academic excellence for each of our children. Everyone’s support is crucial to the success of the auction. Following the 2007 auction, the OMA Parent Volunteer Association donated $45,000 to our school. We hope to make each year’s event larger and even more profitable.

We invite every family to become involved with the auction by volunteering for a committee, procuring auction items and attending the event. Strong procurement is essential to our success, and we encourage you to assist with our efforts by donating an item or service to be auctioned off. You might consider donating a family vacation getaway at your family condo, donating professional services or asking your boss to donate something from his or her business. Keep the OMA auction in mind while out shopping, vacationing or even cleaning the attic and basement as antiques and collectibles are always a big hit. Please consider donating your talents to the OMA auction. If you are good at gardening, you might want to help get someone’s spring garden ready to bloom. Maybe you are a good dessert cook and are willing to bake something once a month. The list goes on and on. Your personal donations are priceless, and they give the auction a very special touch. Be creative – anything goes.

To make a contribution of cash, goods or services, please complete the Auction Donation Form, and we will be in touch with you. If you are interested in volunteering to help with the auction, please fill out and return the Parent Volunteer Form.

So … mark your calendar for March 15, 2008. Look for more information to come your way as plans move forward for the 20th Annual OMA Auction. We look forward to working with you to produce the most successful fund raiser yet!
